Megan,
Our family had the pleasure of meeting you and your fantastic dog team on Denver Glacier June 15 while in Skagway during our Alaskan cruise (our son Evan was in a green arm cast). What an amazing experience that we have all said was life changing. The scenery and the trilling excitement we experienced on the Glacier at the dog camp will be a fantastic memory that will never be forgotten. Thanks for being such a great, fun and informative guide. We wish you and you team continued success and mushing fun! Please pet Weasel, Wildfire, Zip and the other dogs for us!

MEGAN!!!

Your site here is incredible. I do agree with dad though, you do need more pictures of you and Rachel on here. It is truly amazing what you are doing up there. Keep having fun!

Love your crazy brother,

Nathan

Megan, I just wanted to tell you how much my family (wife and two sons) enjoyed our experience of mushing with you on the Denver Glacier on June 21st. It was very obvious that you love what you are doing and that you love your dogs. It was one of the high lights of our trip to Alaska.

Good luck with building your "shack" and your dreams of competing in the Iditarod.

I have really enjoyed reading your journal. Please keep it up! Your descriptions of each stop are great along with the scenery, etc. I almost feel like I am there. My wife and I met you and Rachel this past August on the Glacier. By the way, what race is this that Clint and Paige are currently in? Is there a site that provides info on the race, status, etc.? Are you planning on being in a race this year?
Best of Luck!

I don’t quit and keep penning mainly because it simply just that is worth to read it.

Thank you Megan for running a second team in the Sheep Mountain 150, we feel fortunate to have such a great dog driver handling our dogs! We look forward to having you back in the kennel. Enjoy the fresh snow! Looks like you are going to be racing some of your favorites; Slinky, Chandler, Ferret Face, Moose...they will be excited to see you!

Hi, Megan

I took a ride on your sled in mid-August during our Alaskan vacation. (I was the one with the police k9 experience.) I just had to let you know that the entire experience just made my day and my vacation. Thanks for the wonderful memories!!!!

Megan,
I love your posts and your beautiful pictures! All the dogs are doing good (cobra got spayed at Dr. Olsons today). Terry is really getting excited to start fall training. We miss you and your smile! Give all the dogs scritches, Fritz wants you to know he has mastered many new tricks this summer; how to chase alyeska security, how to chase horses, how to chase 4-wheelers, how to dig under the fence, the list goes on and on!
Love and peace, Jen

Hey Megs,
I wanted you to know that the guy who you call tbear??? is making me run something called the Yukon Quest. I was hoping you could tell me what this is. I have heard some things and it does not sound easy. You know I only like short runs and warm beds...does the YQ have lots of those things? I bet it does. I know Slinky would only do something with warm beds? We really miss you, Olaf is telling all the other dogs that I am his girlfriend! I am not!!!! but I think he has already ruined my reputation. I miss you and all the crew. Please come and take Olaf away, he has a big mouth and eats all the good food.

I "lichen" your mustaches too! Missed you at the Peterson lake gathering. We had pretty good weather. Looking forward to having both of you back at some point and hearing more about your adventures. The hat and wrist warmers you sent were beautful! Love to you both!! b.

Hey Megan,
Your website is ace, impressive, awesome!
Congrats on your successful mushing this summer.
Aunt K. keeps me up to date on your adventures.

We've been fascinated with the tall ships (nine here
this week in Duluth) It's fascinating to watch them
out on the big lake each day. Thousands are in the
city to check them out.

Hello Megan: My wife and I enjoyed a visit with you on July 7th. Of all the tours we took on our Alaskan adventure, yours was by far #1. We were so impressed with your passion for your dogs and your sport. My wife is still talking about the puppy you let her hold at the end of our tour. Thanks for taking a few pictures of us in our Carolina Panther shirts. Will let you know if they print them in their "ROAR" magazine. If we were not several thousand miles away, we would visit with you every week. Good luck-stay safe.

Megan,

Just wanted to thank you again for the tour today, I really enjoyed it and have been fascinated by everything for a long time. Loved the dogs, and you did a really nice job showing us the ropes and telling us about your lifestyle. I've been talking to one of my friends back home, and we might try and see if we could get a summer job up there next summer... thanks for the inspiration as well, enjoy life on the glacier lol

I really enjoy your website. I always look for updates. You must be busy, or stranded on the glacier, cuz you didn't post last week. Let your readers know if you need anything. More yarn, perhaps? LOL

Megan,

My husband Will and I met you this past Wednesday (7-7-10) when our cruise ship stopped in Skagway. I just wanted to thank you for such an amazing experience!! I would not have ever imagined that I would have been able to dogsled in my lifetime, me a Valley Girl from California, and now I can't wait to do it again! I really think the highlight of the trip was you and your dogs. You were so wonderful to us and so friendly, even with our one million questions. I'm just so fascinated and impressed by what you do, it shows how passionate you and your sister are about dog sledding and I love to meet people who get to spend their life doing what they love and can share with it others. I also can not get your dogs out of my mind! I want to adopt them all when they retire. In fact our children were rather upset that we didn't bring one home with us.

So again Megan, thank you so much for the most amazing experience of my life!!
